Led by the Coordinator, ARIMNet2 is steered by the Governing Board whose strategy and decision is implemented by the Executive Committee.

 

 

The Coordinator

The coordinator is Dr. Florence Jacquet, Directeur de Recherches, UMR Moisa, Montpellier. Florence Jacquet is Senior Scientist at INRA since 2006. She is graduated fromInstitut National Agronomique Paris Grignon with a specialization in Economics in 1978. She obtained her doctorate in 1986 and the Habilitation to Deliver Research in 1998, in the University of Montpellier.From 1986 to 2006, she was working at CIHEAM-Institut de Montpellier. She has about 30 years professional experience as researcher and a large capability in research projects management. She has a long-standing international experience in research cooperation, particularly in Mediterranean countries, North Africa and Turkey. Her research topics are in the field of agricultural economics, agricultural policies and trade, farming systems, agri-environmental policies, both in the EU and in the Mediterranean Countries.

 

The Governing Board 

The Governing Board (GB) is the highest decision making body which will survey the development of ARIMNet2, analyses its results and guarantee the relevance of the whole process to the objectives for which it has been built.

The GB is composed of one representative of each consortium member. One representative of the SSAB (see below) should participate in the GB meeting as invited observer, also to report to the GB members on the SSAB activities.

Every partner hasalso the permission to invite to the GB no more than two observers with no voting and speaking rights.

 

The Executive Committee 

Chaired by the Coordinator, the Executive Committee (ExC) is in charge of the general management of ARIMNet2. It is composed of the Coordinator and the workpackage leaders and deputy leaders (WPL and WP-DL). The ExC works under the GB to ensure smooth and timely implementation of the Annual Work plans approved by the GB.

Strategic and Scientific Advisory Board (SSAB)

The objective of this board is, on the one hand, to provide external points of view on the way to conduct the project so it brings maximum outcomes to the society, on the other hand, to advise the consortium to where and how the most promising results in terms of exploitation should be

transferred.The SSAB’s is in charge of drafting the ISRA and is also at the disposal of the Governing Board to give it a strong support for all the activities that request a scientific basis. The SSAB will be involved in the first ARIMNet2 call preparation, defining priorities and topics (in agreement with the GB) given that the first call will be launched within the first year before the finalization of the integrated strategic research agenda.

 

The Management team

Daily management work and handling of the project logistics is handled by the Project Management Team working under the control of the Coordinator.
